The focus of Create Symposium is on community and art. We wanted to make sure that these elements were represented on the website as well as they are in the other projects. We kept our color usage fairly muted so that the images could carry more weight across each page. Using the accent color blue, we are able to make a connection with many of the projects within the create symposium since many of them used processes and ideas based around this color.
Much like the color choices we made we wanted the text to be simple, easy to read, and not distract from the amazing photos of the different projects going on throughout the semester. Our fonts give the website a modern look and feel while still feeling connected to the work that the other groups are doing as well.

THE GROUP
The website was created by the ideas and hard work of a small group of 6 designers. Not only did each of them plan out and execute their own page of the site, but they also met with the other groups to gain the assets they needed to use on their page. Many of the photos in use on the site were taken by the designers who worked on that respective page. The credit of hard work, problem-solving, and teamwork goes to all who were a part of this group. Habib, Becca, Cammie, Claire, Hunter, and Ethan each played a huge role in making the website look as good as it does for you today.
